Our Circular Saw vs. Other Brands: Why Choose BOSI?

Comparison Dimension

BOSI Circular Saws

Same-Price Generic Brands

Imported High-End Brands

Motor & Power

All-copper motors across the entire series; the 1280W model runs at a no-load speed of 12,500 r/min; the 2000W model delivers high torque at a low speed of 4,000 r/min

Mostly aluminum-wire motors, inflated power ratings, rapid temperature rise during continuous cutting, prone to burnout

True power ratings, excellent linear output, but selling price is 2-3 times higher for the same specifications

Blade Configuration

The Black Warrior Series comes standard with a 60-tooth tungsten carbide-tipped circular saw blade for smooth and clean cuts; the 2000W model is equipped with a tungsten carbide-tipped fixed-tooth saw blade

Randomly bundled blades have fewer teeth and lower-grade carbide, resulting in rough cuts prone to edge chipping

Original blades are high quality, but replacement costs are expensive

Housing & Base Plate

All-aluminum gear housings across the series are robust, wear-resistant, and anti-impact; the thickened aluminum base plate ensures precise cutting without deformation

High proportion of plastic housings, prone to cracking under heavy load or when dropped; thin base plates deform under force

Solidly built, but the overall tool weight is on the heavier side, compromising portability

Chip Ejection & Handling

Specially designed chip ejection port provides superior chip removal; toolless adjustment of the cutting angle; an ergonomic auxiliary handle helps share the reaction force

Simple chip ejection port, frequent clogging with chips; angle adjustment requires tools and is cumbersome

Smooth chip ejection, precise handling, but functional redundancy drives up the selling price

Overall Cost

Delivers core configurations such as a pure copper motor, tungsten carbide-tipped saw blade, and aluminum gear housing at a mid-range price point

Low initial investment, but frequent blade replacements and a high tool body failure rate mean the total cost of repeated replacements eventually exceeds the alternative

Top-tier quality, but the high one-time investment is suitable for continuous operation in large factories

BOSI circular saws ensure cutting precision and efficiency with pure copper motors and tungsten carbide-tipped saw blades, and guarantee durability with aluminum gear housings, allowing small to medium furniture factories and renovation teams to obtain near-professional-grade cutting performance at a reasonable cost.

Working Principle

The working principle of a BOSI circular saw is to transmit the motor's high-speed rotation directly to the saw blade, performing straight-line cutting through circular motion. Once connected to a power source, the pure copper motor rotor drives the output spindle to rotate at high speed through a gear set.

The saw blade on the spindle cuts into materials such as wood and panels in a circumferential tangential direction. The tungsten carbide-tipped teeth on the periphery of the saw blade cut into the workpiece sequentially as they rotate at high speed. The leading edge of each tooth planes off tiny chips, which are quickly ejected through a specially designed chip ejection port to prevent clogging and overheating.

From the ultra-high speed of 12,500 r/min on the 1280W compact model to the low-speed, high-torque 4,000 r/min on the 2000W heavy-duty model, BOSI adjusts the relationship between speed and blade diameter to match different cutting depths and material hardness—small-diameter, high-speed configurations are suitable for quickly cutting thin sheets, while large-diameter, low-speed, high-torque configurations ensure stable feed in thick stock.

The thickened aluminum base plate and the toolless angle adjustment mechanism ensure that the saw blade always maintains a right angle, or a set angle, to the workpiece, guaranteeing a smooth and straight cut surface.

Product Series

Conventional Electric Circular Saw

Conventional Electric Circular Saw (1300W) + Black Warrior Cool Series (1400W)

Conventional Electric Circular Saw (2000W) + Black Warrior Cool Series (2200W)

When choosing, first consider the cutting thickness and frequency: for routine thin-sheet cutting, the 1280W compact model is lightweight and efficient. For furniture factories and renovation sites, the 185mm blade is the workhorse; the 1300W Conventional model is economical and pragmatic, while the 1400W Black Warrior model adds visual distinctiveness and a standard 60-tooth blade at the same cutting capacity.

For continuous heavy-duty operation on thick stock in forest yards or large factories, the 2000W/2200W heavy-duty models with an aluminum gear housing and a tungsten carbide-tipped fixed-tooth saw blade are the first choice.

Additionally, the Black Warrior Series' standard tungsten carbide-tipped circular saw blade produces a smoother cut surface, making it suitable for precision cutting scenarios that demand higher cut quality.

Common Problems During Operation and Solutions

Common Problem

Cause Analysis

Solution

Corresponding BOSI Design

Cutting deviates, saw line is not straight

Base plate not pressed firmly against the workpiece, or the angle lock is loose; excessive saw blade wobble

Before cutting, confirm the base plate is flat against the surface and the angle adjustment is securely locked; check blade clamping and do a test run to confirm no wobble

The thickened aluminum base plate is stable and resistant to deformation; the toolless angle adjustment design locks securely

Rough cut surface, edge chipping and burrs

Dull saw blade or incorrect tooth count; feed rate too fast

Replace with a tungsten carbide-tipped saw blade; for thick stock, choose a blade with more teeth; feed at a constant speed without forcing

The Black Warrior Series comes standard with a 60-tooth tungsten carbide-tipped circular saw blade for smooth and clean cuts

Motor stalls or emits smoke

Cutting depth set too large, or the blade is pinched by the material

Adjust the cutting depth to the board thickness plus 3-5mm; support the workpiece on both sides to prevent blade pinching

All-copper motors across the series have strong overload capacity; the 1280W model’s 12,500 r/min high speed helps prevent stalling

Poor chip ejection, cut surface turns black

Chip ejection port clogged, or resin buildup on the blade

Clear the chip ejection port; use a specialized cleaner to remove buildup from the blade

The specially designed chip ejection port provides superior chip removal, with a well-designed path that resists clogging

Operator fatigue, unsteady control

Prolonged one-handed operation or improper grip posture

Install the auxiliary handle, use a balanced two-handed grip; position your body out of the plane of the saw blade

The ergonomic auxiliary handle shares reaction force; the rubber-coated handle provides a comfortable grip to alleviate fatigue

Safety Precautions for Use

Personal Protective Equipment

Safety goggles and a dust mask must be worn when operating a circular saw, as the sawing process generates a large amount of wood chips and dust. When cutting metal or plastic, wear additional cut-resistant gloves, but always keep both hands clear of the tooth path while the blade is rotating.

Pre-Cut Inspection

Confirm that the saw blade is free of missing teeth, cracks, or adhered foreign objects, and that the securing nut is locked. Verify that the base plate angle adjustment and cutting depth have been correctly set. Keep the power cord clear of the cutting path.

Operating Posture

Hold the tool with both hands, stand firmly with one foot slightly forward, and position your body offset from the plane of the blade to prevent injury from kickback. During cutting, keep the base plate firmly against the workpiece, and feed at a constant speed without forcing.

Safety Guard Function

Check that the movable guard returns to its position flexibly. Tying back or jamming the guard to keep it permanently open is strictly prohibited. The reinforced safety guard provides full protection on the non-cutting side of the blade. Only set the tool down after the blade has come to a complete stop.

Kickback Prevention

When cutting long boards, support both ends to prevent the blade from pinching. Never withdraw the saw from the workpiece before the blade has completely stopped, as the teeth may catch the kerf and cause kickback.

Environment and Power Supply

For 220V~ models, ensure proper grounding. In damp or outdoor environments, use with a leakage protector. Keep the work area clean and well-lit, and avoid operating near flammable liquids or gases.

Maintenance

After work, clean accumulated dust from the housing ventilation slots and the inside of the guard, and check the carbon brush for wear. Store the saw blade by hanging it or laying it flat to prevent the tooth tips from being knocked and damaged.

Although the aluminum gear housing is robust and wear-resistant, it should still be protected from high
