BOSI provides steel stranded cable cutters with a telescopic handle and an adjustable length range of 410-580mm, allowing for easy adjustment of the lever arm according to wire diameter and operating space. Suitable for cutting steel stranded wire up to 100mm² and steel-cored aluminum stranded wire up to 400mm².

Product clearly states: Cutting copper/aluminum cables and armored cables is strictly prohibited. 3-month warranty (excluding support teeth and other easily damaged parts). Precautions for Use

Strictly Prohibited to Cut Non-Standard Materials: This product is specifically designed for steel strand and steel-cored aluminum strand. It must never be used to cut pure copper cables, pure aluminum cables, or armored cables, otherwise it will severely damage the cutting edge and transmission mechanism.

Note the telescopic locking: After adjusting the handle length, be sure to confirm that the locking device is in place to prevent the handle from suddenly retracting and causing injury during shearing.

Regularly check the support teeth and pinions: Support teeth and pinions are consumable parts and are not covered by the warranty. Check for wear or deformation before use, and replace them immediately if any abnormalities are found.

Do not exceed the range: Do not cut steel stranded wire exceeding 100mm² or steel-cored aluminum stranded wire exceeding 400mm², to avoid overload causing the support teeth to break.

Maintenance and lubrication: After use, apply lubricating oil to the shaft and rack to prevent rust and jamming.

Q: Are the support teeth and teeth easily damaged? 

A: The support teeth and support pins are easily worn parts in the transmission mechanism, especially when cutting steel strands under high load. They are normal consumable parts and are not covered by the 3-month warranty. It is recommended to keep spare parts on hand and replace them promptly if you find that the cutting is weak or slipping.

Q: Why is it strictly forbidden to cut copper/aluminum cables? 

A: Because the cutting edge angle and heat treatment hardness of this product are optimized for steel strands, it is easy to cause adhesion or chipping when cutting soft copper and aluminum, which will damage the cutting edge.

Q: What if the handle does not lock tightly after telescopic extension? 

A: Check whether the locking screw or spring pin on the telescopic sleeve is loose. Tighten the screw; if the thread is damaged, the part needs to be replaced.

Q: What if it is very difficult to cut? 

A: Confirm that the wire diameter is not out of range; check whether the support teeth and support pins are worn (slipping); add lubricating oil to the shaft; extend the handle appropriately to increase the lever arm.

Q: Can I cut steel-cored aluminum stranded wire with insulation? 

A: Yes, but the insulation layer will increase the resistance. It is recommended to remove the insulation layer before cutting to protect the cutting edge.
