BOSI's Multi-functional Large Pipe Cutters, 12-inch (300mm) size. High-quality aluminum alloy shell, sturdy and durable. SK5 material blade with Teflon coating, double heat treatment, effortless cutting and straight ends. Unique structural design allows for quick blade replacement.

Easily cuts pipes with outer diameters of 32mm, 42mm, 51mm, and 75mm (such as PVC, PPR, PE pipes) by adjusting the limit sleeve. Maximum cutting diameter 75mm. Complies with QB/T5944 standards. Suitable for water and electricity installation, pipe repair, agricultural irrigation, and other scenarios.

Product advantages and principles

Ratchet or composite lever principle: The pipe shear adopts a multi-stage linkage mechanism, and the movement of the handle is converted into linear shear force of the blade through internal gears or cams, which amplifies the small force applied by the hand several times, making Multi-functional Large Pipe Cutters easy to cut thick walled pipes.

SK5 Blade Advantages: SK5 high-carbon tool steel undergoes two heat treatments, achieving a hardness of HRC 58-62, and possesses good toughness, making the cutting edge less prone to chipping during shearing.

Teflon Coating Function: The blade surface is coated with Teflon (PTFE), reducing the coefficient of friction, minimizing adhesion to tubing during shearing, resulting in a smoother cut, and providing rust prevention and easy cleaning.

Principle of limit sleeve adjustment: Different pipe diameters correspond to different limit slots. After placing the pipe into the corresponding slot, the contact angle and cutting stroke between the blade and the pipe are optimized to ensure a one-time cutting and vertical port.

Product testing items

Hardness test: The cutting edge hardness of SK5 inserts after heat treatment is HRC 58-62, which meets the requirements of QB/T5944.

Shearing performance: Shearing tests were conducted on PVC pipes with diameters of φ32mm, φ42mm, φ51mm, and φ75mm respectively. The requirement was that the pipes would be cut cleanly in one go, with a smooth, unbroken end, and no abnormalities were observed after 20 consecutive cuts.

Durability: After 200 cuts on a φ75mm PVC pipe, the cutting edge showed no obvious chipping or breakage, and the limit sleeve adjustment function was normal.

Aluminum Alloy Shell Strength: Under a 100N lateral force, the shell shows no cracks or permanent deformation.

Adhesion of PTFE coating: Cross cut test, coating detachment area ≤ 5%.

Standard implemented: QB/T5944 fully qualified, with factory inspection report attached.

Production process:

Aluminum alloy shell die casting → Deburring → Surface sandblasting and oxidation treatment; SK5 steel plate stamped blade blank → Two heat treatments (quenching + tempering) → Teflon coating → Edge grinding → Assembly of shell, blade, retaining sleeve, and handle → Shearing performance testing → Cleaning and packaging.
