Product Function and Principle

Lever Principle: The double handles are connected by a linkage mechanism. When both hands grip the handles tightly, the lever arm is relatively long (430mm), while the resistance arm of the rivet is very short. According to the lever principle, the small force applied by the hands is amplified several times at the jaws, enough to break the rivet core.

Double-Handle Linkage: Symmetrical design of left and right handles, both hands apply force simultaneously, balanced and labor-saving, reducing hand fatigue compared to single-handle rivet guns.

Claw self-locking: After the claw at the front of the rivet gun grips the rivet core, it will tighten as the handle closes to prevent slippage, until the rivet core is broken.

Springback mechanism: The handle has a built-in spring that automatically resets after being released, facilitating continuous operation.

FAQ

Q: What if the rivet core cannot be pulled out during riveting?

A: Check if the rivet size exceeds 4.8mm; ensure the handle is fully gripped; if it still doesn't break, the claw may be worn and slipping, requiring replacement.

Q: What if the rivet core is stuck in the gun head and cannot be removed?

A: Use needle-nose pliers to grip the core rod and shake it to remove it; if stuck, unscrew the nut at the front of the gun head and remove the claw assembly for cleaning.

Q: What if the rivet head is loose or not fully formed after riveting?

A: The thickness of the riveted material may exceed the rivet's applicable range, or the drilled hole may be too large. Select rivets of appropriate length and diameter, ensuring proper clearance between the drilled hole and the rivet.

Q: How to maintain the Double-handled Rivet Gun?

A: Regularly apply lubricating oil to the connecting rod shaft; clean metal debris from inside the claw; apply anti-rust oil for long-term storage.

Q: Can it rivet stainless steel rivets?

A: The picture description applies to "iron-aluminum rivets." Stainless steel rivets are harder and not recommended to use, as they may damage the claw.
