Carbon Steel Precision Sprue Pliers

BOSI brand Carbon Steel Precision Sprue Pliers from China are precision forged from high-quality carbon steel, with high-frequency quenching of the jaws. They are specifically designed for cutting burrs (sprues) from copper, aluminum, and other non-ferrous metal wires, as well as plastic injection molded parts.

Three sizes are available: 5-inch (125mm) for cutting up to Φ1.8mm copper wire; 6-inch (150mm) for cutting up to Φ2.0mm copper wire; and 7-inch (175mm) for cutting up to Φ2.6mm copper wire.

Product Process

High-Frequency Hardened Cutting Edge: The cutting edge surface is heated by high-frequency current and then rapidly cooled to form a high-hardness thin layer (HRC 55-60), while the inside of the pliers body retains its toughness, resulting in a sharp cutting edge that is not easily chipped during cutting.

Flat-edged design: The blades of the Carbon Steel Precision Sprue Pliers are flat-edged (toothless), resulting in a clean cut, especially suitable for removing excess material from the sprue of plastic parts, leaving no protrusions.

Spring return: A built-in spring between the handles automatically springs back after cutting, improving continuous work efficiency and reducing finger fatigue.

Precision forging: Carbon steel is hot-forged, resulting in a dense internal structure without sand holes or air pockets, and its strength is superior to cast or stamped parts.

Packaging and shipping

Each BOSI brand Carbon Steel Precision Sprue Pliers is individually inserted into a plastic slot or blister pack before being placed in a color box. Multiple color boxes are stacked in a thickened corrugated cardboard outer carton.

5-inch pliers: 200 pliers per carton (10 boxes × 20 pliers)

6-inch pliers: 120 pliers per carton (6 boxes × 20 pliers)

7-inch pliers: 72 pliers per carton (6 boxes × 12 pliers).

Suitable for export by sea; desiccant can be provided for moisture protection. A certificate of conformity and instructions for use are included before shipment. Please consult customer service for packaging dimensions and weight.
